Vocal tract意思

"Vocal tract" is a term used in linguistics, phonetics, and related fields to refer to the part of the human body that is involved in producing speech sounds, particularly those produced through the use of the voice. The vocal tract includes the mouth, nasal cavity, pharynx, and larynx. It is through the manipulation of the shape and size of the vocal tract that humans are able to produce a wide range of speech sounds, or phonemes.
