Mean grade意思

"Mean grade" is a term used in education to refer to the average grade obtained by a student or a group of students in a particular subject or course. It is calculated by adding up all the grades received in the subject and then dividing by the number of grades or assignments included.

For example, if a student received grades of 85, 90, and 80 in three different tests in a subject, the mean grade would be calculated as follows:

Mean grade = (85 + 90 + 80) / 3 Mean grade = 255 / 3 Mean grade = 85

So, the student's mean grade for the subject would be 85.

In some cases, the mean grade may also be referred to as the average grade or simply the grade.
