伊斯蘭銀行意思

"Islamic bank" or "Islamic banking" refers to a financial system that operates in accordance with the principles of Islamic law, also known as Sharia. Unlike conventional banking, which is based on the concept of interest, Islamic banking is based on the principles of risk-sharing, profit-sharing, and asset-backed financing.

Islamic banks offer a range of financial products and services that comply with Sharia, which prohibits the payment or acceptance of interest, as well as investing in businesses that are considered haram (forbidden) under Islamic law, such as those involved in alcohol, gambling, pork, or adult entertainment.

Instead of charging interest, Islamic banks make a profit by participating in the risks and rewards of the investments they make. They do this by using various Islamic financial instruments such as Mudarabah (profit-sharing), Musharaka (joint venture), Ijara (leasing), and Salam (forward sales).

Islamic banking has grown significantly in recent years, particularly in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, but also in other parts of the world where there is a significant Muslim population. It is estimated that there are over 500 Islamic banks and financial institutions worldwide, with assets totaling over $2 trillion.
