Thread count什麼意思

"Thread count" is a term used in the textile industry to describe the number of threads, both horizontal (warp) and vertical (weft), contained in one square inch of fabric. It is often used as a measure of the quality of a fabric, especially for bed sheets and clothing. A higher thread count generally indicates a finer, more tightly woven fabric, which can be softer, more durable, and better at temperature regulation. However, thread count alone does not determine the quality of a fabric; other factors such as the material, weave, and manufacturing process also play significant roles.
