T pose意思

"T pose" is a term used in the context of 3D modeling and animation, particularly in computer graphics and video game development. It refers to a specific pose that a 3D character model assumes, where the limbs are extended straight out from the body, resembling the letter "T". This pose is used as a neutral or default position for 3D models, making it easier for animators to manipulate the model into different positions.

The T pose is commonly used in animation rigs, which are the skeletal structures inside a 3D model that allow for the animation of that model. When a 3D character is first imported into a scene or when an animator is starting a new animation, the character will often be in the T pose. From this pose, animators can easily adjust the position of the limbs and joints, and the rig will follow their adjustments, making it simpler to create fluid and natural-looking animations.

In some cases, the term "T pose" may also be used more broadly to refer to any pose where the limbs are splayed out to the sides, even if it doesn't form a perfect "T" shape. However, the classic T pose is characterized by the straight lines formed by the limbs and the body, with the arms extended straight out to the sides and the legs spread wide apart.
