Sub out意思

"Sub out" is a term commonly used in sports, particularly in team sports, to mean "substitute out." It refers to the action of replacing a player in the game with another player from the bench or reserves. The player who is substituted out leaves the game and is replaced by the new player, often for strategic reasons, fatigue, injury, or performance.

For example, in basketball, if a coach decides to replace a player who is not performing well with a player from the bench, the coach would "sub out" the first player and "sub in" the second player. The player who is subbed out is no longer part of the active playing lineup for the rest of that particular play or game, depending on the rules of the sport.

The term can be applied to any sport that allows substitutions, such as football (soccer), rugby, hockey, baseball, and more. It's a way to refresh the team on the field or court, change tactics, or manage player health and energy levels throughout the game.
