Standard tuning意思

"Standard tuning" in the context of guitar refers to the most common tuning of the instrument, where the strings are tuned from lowest pitch to highest pitch as follows:

E - A - D - G - B - E

This tuning is also known as "E standard tuning" or "EADGBE tuning." The names of the notes come from the first seven notes in the chromatic scale (starting from E). Each string is named after the note it should be tuned to when played open (without fretting any notes).

Standard tuning is used in a wide variety of music genres, including rock, pop, folk, country, and blues. It is the default tuning for most guitars and is often used as a point of reference when discussing alternative tunings.
