Lean精實的意思
"Lean" or "Lean Manufacturing" is a management philosophy and set of practices that aims to eliminate waste in all forms within a process or system. It was originally developed in the manufacturing industry, particularly by Toyota, as a way to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The term "Lean" comes from the idea of creating more value for customers with fewer resources.
The principles of Lean include:
- Value: Understanding what value means to the customer and focusing on delivering that value.
- Value Stream: Mapping out the steps involved in delivering that value to the customer and identifying wasteful steps.
- Flow: Improving the flow of work so that it is smooth and continuous, reducing the time it takes to deliver value to the customer.
- Pull: Producing goods or services only as they are needed by the customer, rather than producing them in advance.
- Perfection: Continuously improving processes to eliminate waste and improve quality.
Lean has since been applied beyond manufacturing to a wide range of industries, including healthcare, software development, and service businesses. The goal of Lean is to create a culture of continuous improvement, where small changes can add up to significant improvements over time.
