Highside意思

"Highside" is a term used in motorcycle racing and riding that refers to a situation where the motorcycle's front wheel loses traction and slides out to the side, often causing the rider to be ejected over the handlebars. This can occur when a rider brakes too hard, accelerates too quickly, or takes a corner too fast, causing the bike to slide towards the outside of the turn. Highsides are considered more dangerous than "lowsides," which are slides or falls where the bike and rider go down in the same direction, as they can result in the rider being thrown at a high speed and potentially suffering serious injuries. Riders and fans often use the term "highside" to describe such incidents, and it is a situation that riders aim to avoid during a race or ride.
