Halal意思

"Halal" is an Arabic word that means "permissible" or "lawful" in English. In the context of food and diet, halal refers to food that is permissible for Muslims to consume according to Islamic dietary laws. These laws are based on the Quran, the holy book of Islam, and the Hadith, the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad.

Halal food is food that has been prepared according to Islamic guidelines, which include:

  1. The animal must be slaughtered by a Muslim who invokes the name of God at the time of slaughter.
  2. The animal must be healthy and free from disease.
  3. The blood must be drained from the animal.
  4. The animal must be killed humanely, with a swift, deep incision across the throat.

In addition to these guidelines, Muslims are also prohibited from consuming pork and its by-products, as well as any food that contains alcohol or has been prepared with alcohol.

The concept of halal extends beyond food to other aspects of life, such as finance, clothing, and cosmetics. Halal products are those that are permissible for Muslims to use or consume based on Islamic law.
