Freediving意思

Freediving, also known as apnea, is a type of underwater diving where the diver swims underwater without the use of any breathing apparatus. It involves holding one's breath for a prolonged period of time until resurfacing. Freediving can be practiced recreationally, competitively, or as a means of training for other water sports. Competitive freediving includes various disciplines such as static apnea (holding breath while floating at the surface), dynamic apnea (swimming underwater as far as possible), and depth disciplines like constant weight and free immersion, where divers descend and ascend in a pool or open water. Freediving is a challenging and potentially dangerous activity that requires significant skill, training, and safety measures.
